Qg 2: Multi-Sync Gateway
Qg 2: Multi-Sync Gateway
Qulsar Simulator/Emulator/Generator » Test & Simulation
Qulsar's Qg 2 is a highly accurate multi-sync gateway equipped with the IEEE 1588 PTP grand master function and boundary clock function in a compact enclosure. Since it supports multiple synchronization sources, it provides reliable sync signals regardless of location. It supports the stringent timing requirements of LTE including LTE-A and LTE-TDD architecture and supports the frequency / phase profile of ITU-T G.8265 and G.8275. We also began supporting IEEE PC 37.238 as a power system profile.
In a distributed cluster synchronization architecture such as a small cell or remote radio head (RRH), timing resources must be brought close to the network edge to meet phase and frequency accuracy requirements. Qg 2 is designed by ATPS (Assisted Partial Timing Support) so that next generation networks can supply accurate phase and frequency to small cells. Also, in order to realize flexible scalability against the rapid growth of the network, it is possible to support up to 450 PTP slaves in 128 packets / second unicast mode.
